After his MSc thesis on cannabinoid CB2 receptor localization he continues his studies on endocannabinoid transport mechanisms. Using different in vitro assays and chemical biology tools to characterize cellular endocannabinoid diffusion and reuptake his goal is to identify the membrane protein(s) involved in this mechanism. Specific anandamide reuptake inhibition is a potential target for therapeutic intervention.
